Thanks for taking the time and effort to try to explain something I've often wondered about myself. I thought your explanation of how the texts were organized, main text, surrounding texts and text in the margins was just as interesting, along with the examples. On a side note, I can only imagine the sore eyes trying to read the tiny margin writing! Overall, a really great effort and clear explanation. Thanks. L. Tsiktsiris.
