we could just re-decentralize, make local governments once again the primary revenue raisers as and fiscal actors as they were until the 1940s, while restoring the localized capital capital structures that kept a large share of local money in local areas on the private sector side as we had until the advent of the so called Neoliberal Era, this system didnt to welfare or transfers, it was based around communities using their own money, if we restored it then people would really have the freedom he eloquently mentions to do things themselves and he would no longer have to worry about placating anyone or giving any one anything
