Oh hey! First Jarman and now Bella. I thought this was wonderful to read, and rendered me mushy and sloppy (hiding it) at the great photographs of her. She is very beautiful and has only made my wish for a dachshund even more vocal. But in the highly unlikely event of this ever coming to pass, I’d go with a more butch standard - I’m still working through the juxtaposition of me, a middle aged leatherman, and a dachshund in public: a mate has a mastiff and that works fine, but I think a dachshund and I might - just - bring it off…although yapping is just never a good look ever for anyone. And she’s red!
