Without a doubt, I don't think anything quite describes the journey that took me across the $1m mark as well as what you've written here Jim. I can't even begin to calculate how many times I followed someone else's advice down a blind alley - or advice which was just wrong. I've found much of the advice out there makes intuitive sense - but doesn't survive first contact with reality. Much of what worked for me was learning from past mistakes, improving my skillset, and keeping costs low. Thanks so much for sharing this.
