Great article, I remember as a teenager in the late ’70s, my father explaining to me that the demonization of hemp was ridiculous. He told me it was practically a miracle plant because of how many different things it could be used for — rope, clothing, paper, and more. What really struck me was that he held this opinion despite being completely against marijuana. He didn’t believe in using it at all, but he still recognized the value of hemp.
