well, unlike many who think the federal institutions deserve survival, at least you're coherent and know how to use your words without insults. much of my 50+ years, of which it took around 9 years to become first exposed to government malfeasance and thus aware of its existence, have been spent desiring that smoldering crater of government reduction you so poetically described. with salt on top so it doesn't grow back. then rebuild from scratch, while clearly codifying power limits and accountability, any deleted functions that turn out to actually be needed. imagine the implausibility of trying to screen 3 million federal employees to find and remove the grifters, sabotagers, and well-meaning idiots with too much power over others, one at a time, before the regime figurehead changes and the process gets stopped short of completion. you get kudos for your usage of words even if I don't agree with the content.
