I refuse to fly again. I have been poked, prodded, jiggled, had a possibly rare antique nearly broken apart for 'drugs', and been forced to throw away the water I had recieved on another flight. Just because something about me sets off people who like to pretend to have authority. Doesn't matter if I dress like a punk or a grandma, I'm naturally suss. Fuck that. I have already decided that in the future, I will schedule around amtrack (most civilized) and my car (totes barbaric) to get where I need to go. I was pleased that Trump put the funds for Grand Central station into Amtrak's kitty. I think Amtrack is great. It has it's limitations, but I would rather travel 2 days by train than 5 hours by airline any day.
