No, I agree that the constitution is an incredibly viable and valuable document that should be heeded as a baseline and adjusted for the current reality. There is a tremendous amount of bloat from top to bottom of the government, but the needed reduction should be done in a calculated, organized, and realistic manner. Do you clean your house by burning it to the ground and then rebuilding? No, you identify the messes, clean them, and then do what is necessary to keep them from accumulating again. A reset is needed, but not like this. There is so much at stake for so many that if the government actually owes us anything, it is a responsible transition and not a smoldering crater.
